Many people have questions regarding Freemasonry. What is it we do? Is it a cult? Who ARE you people?? Hopefully this page will answer some of your questions
  1. What is Freemasonry?

  2. Freemasonry is a global, religious fraternity.
  3. What on Earth does THAT mean?

  4. It is a Fraternity, but one of the membership requirements is that you believe in [one] God.
  5. So, is Freemasonry a religion?

  6. No it is not. Members are simply encouraged to persue their faith in God.
  7. Why do you exist?

  8. Freemasonry is a charitable organization. We spend most of our time raising money for those in need. The Shriners are a Masonic organization.
  9. I heard you are a secret society, bent on ruling the world!

  10. No. Our business meetings are closed to the general public. Most fraternities operate this way.
  11. How do I become a Freemason?

  12. To be one, ask one.
